MERDEKA DISCOUNT VOUCHER 2023 TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These terms and conditions ("Terms") govern the use and redemption of the Discount Voucher ("Voucher") issued by Messrs Akmal Saufi & Co ("ASCO Law") for legal services. By purchasing and using the Voucher, you agree to these Terms.

1. Voucher Details

1.1 The Voucher offers a 10% discount on the principal legal fee incurred, subject to the terms and limitations set forth herein.

1.2 The discount is capped at a maximum value of RM1,000.00 (Ringgit Malaysia One Thousand only).

1.3 The Voucher can only be applied if the principal legal fee amount is not less than RM500.00 (Ringgit Malaysia Five Hundred only).

2. Voucher Purchase and Offer Period

2.1 The Voucher can be purchased for RM50.00 (Ringgit Malaysia Fifty only).

2.2 The special offer to purchase the Voucher at RM50.00 is valid only until 31st August 2023 ("Offer Period").

3. Voucher Validity

3.1 The Voucher is valid for redemption until 31st December 2023 ("Expiry Period").

3.2 The discount provided by the Voucher will only be applicable to legal services rendered before the Expiry Date.

3.3 The validity period of the Voucher will not be extended and ASCO Law reserves the right to reject any Voucher that is presented after the Expiry Date.

4. Redemption and Usage

4.1 The Voucher can only be redeemed against legal services provided by ASCO Law. To use the Voucher, the bearer must present the physical or digital copy of the Voucher to ASCO Law at the time of engaging the legal services.

4.2 The discount is applicable only to the principal legal fee and does not apply to subsidiary legal fees, additional costs, reimbursements, disbursements, taxes, or other charges.

4.3 The principal legal fee must be a minimum of RM500.00 for the discount to be applicable, and the discount shall be capped at RM1,000.00.

4.4 The Voucher cannot be combined with any other promotions, discounts, or offers unless expressly stated.

4.5 The Voucher must be presented at the time of consultation or engagement with ASCO Law to enjoy the discount.

4.6 ASCO Law reserves the right to verify the authenticity of the Voucher and the transaction prior to honouring the discount.

4.7 ASCO Law reserves the right to cancel or void any Voucher if it suspects any fraudulent activity or violation of these Terms.

5. Redemption Limitation

5.1 The Voucher can be redeemed for one (1) invoice per transaction only.

5.2 In cases where multiple legal services are provided by ASCO Law in a single transaction, the Voucher can be applied to only one (1) of the services. For example, if ASCO Law is engaged for sale and purchaser documentation services and financing documentation services for one (1) property and you purchased only one (1) Voucher, the said Voucher can only be redeemed for either the sale and purchase documentation services or financing documentation services and not on both services.

5.3 Multiple Vouchers cannot be combined for a single transaction/service.

6. Exclusions

6.1 The Voucher cannot be used for any ongoing or existing legal matters or services already engaged with ASCO Law.

6.2 The Voucher is not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash or any other form of credit.

7. General Terms

7.1 You acknowledge that the Voucher is non-refundable.

7.2 You agree to adhere to ASCO Law’s standard terms and conditions for legal services, which are separate from these Voucher Terms.

7.3 ASCO Law reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate this Voucher promotion, in whole or in part, at its sole discretion, without prior notice.

7.4 ASCO Law is not responsible for any lost, stolen, damaged, or expired Vouchers.

7.5 ASCO Law shall not be liable for any direct or indirect loss, damage, or expense arising out of or in connection with the use or misuse of the Voucher.

7.6 These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes arising in connection with the Voucher shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaya.
